Disjointed Swamp Song

I awoke to find the clothes line broke
And pants of dew I blamed on you and I, I, IIIIII
I stretch out the through line and through mine in my own time
And I, I, IIIIIII….
Will never wash these pants again

I shook the hand of the devil’s old man
And he apologised for the tears I cried and I, I, IIIII
I take back my hand and as he left the smell lingers with I
And I, I, IIIII….
Realise he’d slipped ring from my finger
